My Shoe Store Inc, announced that it has moved its company headquarters and opened a new store in Hampton, New Hampshire. The new address is My Shoe Store, 881 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842. Weather dependant, the My Shoe Store signs will be installed this week.
The move to a more visible location, with significantly more traffic, is intended to help increase sales. Additionally, the move is expected to make it easier for customers to return, exchange or pick up orders that have been placed on My Shoe Store's online stores at myshoestore.com and lordjohnsfootwear.com.
Hampton, NH has long been a destination for vacationers during summer months, but with the weak US dollar, reports have shown an increase in year-round traffic from Canadians and Europeans. My Shoe Store is working on ways to capture more sales from foreign travelers looking to get deals on shoes, boots and other footwear. Plans are underway to allow foreign customers to purchase shoes on My Shoe Store's online store and have them shipped to their country.
For now, foreign customers who are visiting the Hampton, NH area can make their purchases in the My Shoe Store location in Hampton. My Shoe Store will continue to outsource the warehousing, order fulfillment and customer service to the company it has been using for the past 3 years.
A sophisticated system is also in place to identify the location of shoes, so that My Shoe Store can identify if the shoes are in the Hampton store or the warehouse. Additionally, My Shoe Store will keep with industry standards of drop-shipping orders as necessary from shoe manufactures to decrease shipping times to customers on the West Coast.
My Shoe Store will maintain store hours of Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM through the winter months. Store hours are subject to change, and are expected to increase during the busy summer months. Current store hours, as well as the address and store phone number, will be maintained on the My Shoe Store website at www.myshoestore.com.
Community Involvement: In addition to the prime location of the My Shoe Store retail location, My Shoe Store is taking a more active role in the community. My Shoe Store manager, Jason LeBoeuf, will be contacting area organizations, such as schools and hospitals, to setup group discounts.
Manufacturers occasionally offer discounts for larger orders placed by My Shoe Store. By passing along those discounts to schools and other groups, My Shoe Store is helping the community. My Shoe Store will also be working on other ways to give back to the community. Interested groups should contact Jason LeBoeuf, manager of My Shoe Store in Hampton, New Hampshire.
