The management of the ANCI - the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers - has decided to change the days on which the MICAM ShoEvent is held.

The event dedicated to footwear organised by the Association will therefore take place on a different date from that previously scheduled.

In order to change its position during the week as early as 2008, focusing on weekdays rather than the week-end, next year the event will be held from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th February and from Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20th September.

"Specialists in the footwear sector who choose MICAM - explains the chairman of ANCI, Vito Artioli - have shown in recent editions that they prefer to visit the trade fair on weekdays.

With the new scheduling, we hope to facilitate all our visitors and in particular international footwear operators who with their ever increasing affluence are one of the major strengths of the event".

Indeed, in September 2007, 46,313 footwear industry operators visited the MICAM ShoEvent. During the same edition, foreign buyers went up to a share of 22,623 visitors, with a 5.1% growth compared to the same edition the previous year.
