After a successful launch in April this year and five stores in 9 months, Calvin Klein Inc, the world's leading fashion brand from America threw open its doors to its first stand alone Calvin Klein Jeans store in India, at Select Citywalk, Saket on the 7th of this month.

With around 1300 square feet of shopping space, Calvin Klein brings to Delhiites the CK Jeans Fall' 07 and CK Underwear for men.

This season CK Jeans shows a return to iconic American New York street wear, blending grunge influences and 90's rock elements with a contemporary attitude.

Glossy leathers and sportswear textures give the line winter sheen and outerwear gets deconstructed with reversible cardigans and hoodies.

Lustrous denims in new varieties and styles, including Japenese oaks and the pencil skirt, dominate the collection.

Known for its innovative advertising, this Fall CKJ campaign features musician Jamie Burke alongside model Lara Stone. To celebrate 25 years of Calvin Klein Underwear, Djimon Hounsou, the award winning actor who has been voted as the 'Most Beautiful Black Man Alive' launched the line for men called Calvin Klein 'Steel'.

COLLECTION NOTES:
Women:
Jeans have luster, but are boyish and masculine for a punk 90's feel. Denim pencil skirts and minis are worn with boots and black opaque tights. Chunky sweaters and cardigan coats, as well as capes and cape sweaters are key to the CK Woman this Fall.

The classic herringbone pea coat is reinterpreted with a modern twist. Men: Trouser jeans have elements of the tailored trouser, but with sheen. Cardigans, blazers, and waist coats are modernized with cardigans are worn inside out and hoodie knits over-washed and printed.

Men:
A combination of washed leather, gloss leather, and PVC all give the collection its fabulous winter sheen. True American sportswear textures such as plaid, flannel and prints, stripes, and tweeds mixed together, all lend a cool, modern feel to the CK Man. 'Fit' returns to an original western boot-cut for jeans, while tops are relaxed, soft, and worn.

Colors:
A range of deep shades that include black, indigo, navy, dark green, plum, and grey heather, combined with classic khaki are the colors for CK Jeans this Fall. For women, there are pops of yellow; and for men, ginger and ochre. Hardware is tonal, now finished in antiqued silver. Graphic logos and utilitarian details are also important throughout.

Calvin Klein Underwear:
The Steel line features a wide silver-tone waistband of soft microfiber with an oversized Calvin Klein logo. Steel for men has two new fabrics,enhanced lightweight cotton and an exclusive new microfiber. Colors are heather, gray, black and white.
